Concord Seedless Table Grape Vine (Vitis labrusca ‘Concord Seedless’) is a classic American grape variety valued for its rich, full-bodied flavor and juicy, seedless fruit. The medium-sized clusters are filled with deep purple-blue berries that are sweet, aromatic, and bursting with the traditional Concord taste. Perfect for fresh eating, juicing, or making jams and jellies, Concord Seedless offers all the flavor of the original Concord grape without the seeds. Vigorous and cold-hardy, it’s an excellent choice for home gardens and backyard vineyards.
Growing Concord Seedless Table Grape Vine
Light: Requires full sun for maximum sweetness, color, and heavy yields.
Soil: Prefers well-drained soil; adapts to sandy, loamy, or slightly clay soils when properly amended.
Water: Water deeply and regularly during the growing and fruiting season; avoid soggy soil around roots.
Fertilizer: Apply a balanced grape or orchard fertilizer in early spring, with an optional midsummer feeding to support crop load.
Pollination: Self-fertile; does not require another grapevine for fruit set.
Maintenance: Prune annually in late winter to remove old canes and encourage productive fruiting wood. Provide a trellis, arbor, or fence for support.
Hardiness: Best grown in USDA zones 4–9. Ripens in late summer to early fall, delivering a reliable harvest year after year.
