Marble Queen Pothos (Epipremnum aureum ‘Marble Queen’) is a striking variegated cultivar of the popular Golden Pothos known for its elegant, heart-shaped leaves splashed generously with creamy white and green marbled variegation. This evergreen vine displays unique patterned foliage where some leaves can be nearly all white while others mix broad cream streaks with deep green, giving a luxuriously marbled appearance that enlivens any indoor space. It can climb or trail vigorously, often reaching up to 10 feet long indoors, making it perfect for hanging baskets, shelves, or moss poles.

Growing Marble Queen Pothos

Light: Thrives in bright to medium indirect light, which promotes bright variegation; too little light causes variegation to fade and growth to slow. Protect from direct sun which can scorch leaves.

Soil: Prefers well-draining, rich potting soil typically containing peat, perlite, and organic matter for optimal moisture retention and aeration.

Water: Keep soil lightly moist by watering when the top 2 inches dry; avoid overwatering to prevent root rot. Less frequent watering is needed during cooler months.

Humidity: Prefers average to high humidity but adapts well to typical indoor humidity levels. Occasional misting can help especially in dry environments.

Temperature: Performs best at temperatures between 65°F and 85°F (18°C–29°C). Protect from drafts and avoid temperatures below 55°F (13°C).

Fertilizer: Use balanced liquid fertilizer monthly during the growing season diluted to half strength, reducing feeding in fall and winter.

Maintenance: Prune long, leggy stems to encourage bushier growth, and trim damaged or yellow leaves. Easily propagated from stem cuttings.

Toxicity: Toxic to pets and humans if ingested due to calcium oxalate crystals; keep out of reach of children and animals.
