Olympian Fig is a vigorous, sun-loving deciduous fruit tree prized for its spectacular, reliable profusion of exceptionally large, sweet, purple-skinned figs featuring luscious, tender red flesh. Growing Olympian Fig
Light: Full sun; thrives in bright, direct sunlight (at least 6 to 8 hours per day) to produce the most abundant, sweetest fruit, the strongest branches, and maintain a tight, sturdy form. Too much shade will cause the plant to become leggy and significantly reduce both fruit yield and proper ripening.
Soil: Rich, well-drained soil; highly adaptable to average, sandy, or loamy soils as long as drainage is excellent. It is extremely susceptible to root rot in heavy, waterlogged clay, especially during the cold, wet winter months.
Water: Moderate; water regularly until established, then allow the top few inches of soil to dry out completely between waterings. It is remarkably drought-tolerant once mature but performs best and produces the plumpest figs with consistent moisture during the intense heat of the summer fruit-swelling period.
Maintenance: Exceptionally low maintenance. Prune during the dormant winter months to maintain a manageable size, remove dead or crossing branches, and encourage an open, well-ventilated canopy that allows sunlight to reach the ripening fruit. It naturally produces an early breba crop on old wood and a heavier main crop on new growth.
Wildlife: Highly attractive to birds and local wildlife who enthusiastically seek out the sweet, ripening figs; naturally deer-resistant due to the thick, rough texture of its foliage and its milky sap.
Hardiness: Deciduous perennial in USDA zones 6–9; exceptionally cold-hardy for a fig, making it reliable across a wide range of climates, though it can also be strictly contained in large patio pots and overwintered in a sheltered garage or basement in colder regions.
Shipping Info
Olympian Fig plants are shipped as healthy young starts in 4" nursery pots. Allow 1–2 weeks after arrival for plants to recover from shipping and resume active growth before repotting or planting outdoors.

It's doing really well. I will be transferring it to a bigger pot probably by the weekend. I wish I had a little more instructions on how to care for this variety, and what to do in the fall.
Plants arrived fine.. got them planted. Now i will let you know next spring. If they survive and grow back.. So far, i am ok with them

Package came delivered just like it said it would I pulled it out it looked good. I put it in some water for about a half hour and put it in my 30 gallon tub and I got three things to go with it.

Plants arrived in great condition. This plant has only been in the ground about 10 days and is growing a lot. The plant cage is 12” tall so it’s doing well. I put guards around my new plants for a little while because I have bunnies who love tender young leaves.

I got 2 mystery plants (one indoor and one outdoor). The indoor was a pilea and the outdoor plant was a white blackberry. White blackberry was dramatic, but it’s making a comeback and the pilea is doing great!

Need to upgrade your packaging. I would suggest taping the plant in place in the cardboard tube on the count that it slid and smashed itself. Luckily, it's a strong plant and should recover. Hoping.for the best.

The plant arrived after a few delivery reroutes. It came with three leaves two so far are healthy one was dying and has since died. The two remaining leaves appear to be doing well.
