Growing My Special Angel Begonia

Light: Bright, indirect light; thrives in dappled shade or gentle morning sun when grown outdoors, but requires strict protection from harsh, direct sunlight, which will easily scorch its delicate leaves.

Soil: Rich, airy, well-drained soil; prefers a highly organic, loamy potting mix amended with perlite or fine orchid bark to retain adequate moisture while ensuring excellent aeration and drainage.

Water: Moderate; water regularly to keep the soil evenly moist, allowing the top inch or two of soil to dry out between waterings. It strongly dislikes being completely dried out, but is extremely susceptible to root rot in heavy, waterlogged soil.

Maintenance: Exceptionally low maintenance. Provide plenty of ambient humidity by using a pebble tray or humidifier. Pinch back tall canes to encourage a bushier, denser branching habit, and use a sturdy stake to support heavier stems as they mature.

Wildlife: Generally grown indoors; outdoors, its textured foliage is naturally deer-resistant.

My Special Angel Begonia plants are shipped as healthy young starts in 4" nursery pots. Allow 1–2 weeks after arrival for plants to recover from shipping and resume active growth before repotting or planting outdoors.
