Baby Rubber Plant is a mesmerizing, shade-loving tropical perennial (widely grown as a spectacular indoor house plant) prized for its striking, incredibly glossy, thick, spoon-shaped dark green leaves. This exceptionally tough, compact selection is known for its remarkable, densely bushy, upright habit and bold, fleshy foliage that creates a dramatic, eye-catching statement piece for any collection. Growing Baby Rubber Plant
Light: Bright, indirect light; thrives in dappled shade or near a bright window when grown indoors. It requires strict protection from harsh, direct sunlight, which will easily scorch its delicate, fleshy leaves, though too much shade will cause it to become leggy, stretch toward the light, and lose its tight, compact form.
Soil: Rich, airy, well-drained soil; prefers a highly organic, chunky potting mix amended with ample perlite and coarse sand to ensure excellent aeration and rapid drainage. It is extremely susceptible to root rot in heavy, waterlogged soils.
Water: Low to moderate; water thoroughly, but allow the top half of the soil to dry out completely between waterings. Its thick, succulent-like leaves effectively store water, making it remarkably drought-tolerant once established; it strongly dislikes being overwatered and absolutely will not tolerate sitting in standing water.
Maintenance: Exceptionally low maintenance. Wipe the broad, glossy leaves occasionally with a damp cloth to remove dust and maintain their brilliant, reflective appearance. Pinch back the growing stems occasionally to encourage a much bushier, denser branching habit.
Wildlife: Generally grown indoors; it is completely non-toxic and entirely safe for cats, dogs, and curious pets. Outdoors, its thick foliage is naturally deer-resistant.
Hardiness: Perennial in USDA zones 10–11; widely grown as a spectacular, fast-growing shade annual in cooler regions or overwintered indoors as a vibrant, year-round house plant.

It's doing really well. I will be transferring it to a bigger pot probably by the weekend. I wish I had a little more instructions on how to care for this variety, and what to do in the fall.
Plants arrived fine.. got them planted. Now i will let you know next spring. If they survive and grow back.. So far, i am ok with them

Package came delivered just like it said it would I pulled it out it looked good. I put it in some water for about a half hour and put it in my 30 gallon tub and I got three things to go with it.

Plants arrived in great condition. This plant has only been in the ground about 10 days and is growing a lot. The plant cage is 12” tall so it’s doing well. I put guards around my new plants for a little while because I have bunnies who love tender young leaves.

I got 2 mystery plants (one indoor and one outdoor). The indoor was a pilea and the outdoor plant was a white blackberry. White blackberry was dramatic, but it’s making a comeback and the pilea is doing great!

Need to upgrade your packaging. I would suggest taping the plant in place in the cardboard tube on the count that it slid and smashed itself. Luckily, it's a strong plant and should recover. Hoping.for the best.

The plant arrived after a few delivery reroutes. It came with three leaves two so far are healthy one was dying and has since died. The two remaining leaves appear to be doing well.
