Nanouk Inch Plant is a stunning, fast-growing tropical trailing perennial (widely grown as a spectacular indoor house plant) prized for its spectacular, continuous profusion of thick, smooth leaves boldly striped with vibrant pink, white, and green, featuring striking magenta undersides. This exceptionally tough, adaptable selection is known for its vigorous, densely branching habit and tiny, star-shaped white and pink flowers that occasionally emerge from its vividly colored foliage. Its bold, intensely colorful trailing stems make it a spectacular, low-maintenance spiller and thriller for indoor hanging baskets, bright windowsills, and shaded summer patio containers. With its dramatic, painted texture and reliable performance, Nanouk offers an extraordinary display of vibrant, tropical foliage with exceptionally straightforward care.
Growing Nanouk Inch Plant
Light: Bright, indirect light; thrives in dappled sunlight or near a bright window when grown indoors. It requires strict protection from harsh, direct sunlight, which will easily scorch its delicate, colorful leaves, but too little light will cause it to lose its striking pink variegation and become leggy.
Soil: Rich, well-drained soil; highly adaptable to average soils, though it prefers a light, airy houseplant potting mix amended with perlite to ensure excellent aeration and drainage. It is extremely susceptible to root rot in heavy, waterlogged soils.
Water: Moderate; water regularly to keep the soil evenly moist, allowing the top inch or two of soil to dry out completely between waterings. It strongly dislikes being completely dried out, but avoid getting water directly on the leaves to prevent fungal issues and leaf rot.
Maintenance: Exceptionally low maintenance. Pinch back the growing tips or long, leggy stems regularly to encourage a much bushier, denser branching habit. The pinched stems can be easily propagated by rooting them in water or directly in moist soil.
Wildlife: Generally grown indoors; its sap can cause mild skin irritation and is mildly toxic to pets if ingested. Outdoors, it is naturally deer-resistant.
Hardiness: Perennial in USDA zones 10–12; widely grown as a spectacular, fast-growing trailing annual in cooler regions or easily kept indoors as a vibrant, year-round house plant.

Nanouk Inch Plant plants are shipped as healthy young starts in 4" nursery pots. Allow 1–2 weeks after arrival for plants to recover from shipping and resume active growth before repotting or planting outdoors.

It's doing really well. I will be transferring it to a bigger pot probably by the weekend. I wish I had a little more instructions on how to care for this variety, and what to do in the fall.
Plants arrived fine.. got them planted. Now i will let you know next spring. If they survive and grow back.. So far, i am ok with them

Package came delivered just like it said it would I pulled it out it looked good. I put it in some water for about a half hour and put it in my 30 gallon tub and I got three things to go with it.

Plants arrived in great condition. This plant has only been in the ground about 10 days and is growing a lot. The plant cage is 12” tall so it’s doing well. I put guards around my new plants for a little while because I have bunnies who love tender young leaves.

I got 2 mystery plants (one indoor and one outdoor). The indoor was a pilea and the outdoor plant was a white blackberry. White blackberry was dramatic, but it’s making a comeback and the pilea is doing great!

The plant arrived after a few delivery reroutes. It came with three leaves two so far are healthy one was dying and has since died. The two remaining leaves appear to be doing well.
